Manage blog authors

Create reusable author profiles and assign them to posts.

A blog author is a reusable profile with a name, slug, biography, and optional avatar. Posts reference this profile, so updating it keeps the author's public details consistent across their posts.

Create an author

In your store admin, go to Content, Blog, then Authors.
Select Add Author.
Enter the author's name and optionally add a biography and avatar.
Save the author, then choose it while creating or editing a post.

Delete an author

Deleting an author does not delete their posts. The posts remain stored, but you must assign another author before publishing an affected post again.
