A blog author is a reusable profile with a name, slug, biography, and optional avatar. Posts reference this profile, so updating it keeps the author's public details consistent across their posts.
Where blog authors appear
Each blog post is assigned one blog author. The author's name, biography, and avatar appear on the post and anywhere the theme shows the writer.
Creating and managing blog authors
Create blog authors from Blog > Authors, then assign them while creating or editing a blog post. On mobile, open Blog Authors and use the add button.
Deleting blog authors
Deleting a blog author never deletes their posts, and no post is left without an author. If the author has posts, choose another author to take them over; Tringify moves every assigned post to that author and then deletes the profile. You can also select several authors and use bulk delete with one replacement author, who can't be one of the authors being deleted; missing authors are skipped.
