Open Online Store > URL Redirects.
Choose Add redirect.
Enter the dead path and its new target.
Choose Permanent (301) or Temporary (302), then save.
Paths and targets
A path starts with /. A prefix-rule path ends with /. To keep the remaining part of the old address, end its target with / too: /old/* to /new/* sends /old/item to /new/item. You can also send every matching address to one fixed target. An internal target starts with a single /. An external target must be a complete HTTPS URL without a username or password.
Matching and query parameters
Source paths are matched without letter case, query parameters or fragments. Repeated slashes and a trailing slash are removed. Exact matches take priority over prefix rules; the longest matching prefix wins. A prefix also matches its base address: /old/* includes /old, but not /older. Incoming query parameters are kept when the target has no query of its own, and appear before a target fragment such as #details.
Select and remove
Search by source path or target, filter by redirect type, and choose a page size. Select rows and choose Delete to remove several redirects together. Store Admin supports Shift-click selection between two rows. The selection limit is shown by the page; changing the search, filter or page clears the selection. In the mobile app, use the row actions to edit or delete, or select rows for bulk removal.
Permanent or temporary
Choose Permanent (301) for an address that has moved for good. Choose Temporary (302) when you expect to use the original address again. Browsers may remember permanent redirects, so test the destination before saving.
Missing pages
Open the 404 report to review addresses shoppers could not reach. Create a redirect from an entry when you have a suitable replacement, or dismiss the entry if no action is needed. Dismissing an entry does not create a redirect or repair the missing page.
Import and export
Use Import to upload a CSV with from, to, and type columns. Type is 301 or 302. Review the preview before starting, then check the bulk job for the result of every row. The first valid occurrence of each source path is processed; later occurrences of that same normalized path are row errors. Importing a path that already exists updates that redirect. Re-importing an exported automatic redirect makes that global rule merchant-managed; translated automatic redirects are not exported. Export creates a downloadable CSV; find its status and download in bulk jobs.
Limits
The page shows your current redirect usage and live limits. Automatic redirects do not consume the merchant redirect limit. The separate prefix-rule limit includes system prefixes. The page shows how many rows can be selected for bulk removal.
