Use this reset when you want to start a language's translations again without disabling the language. It permanently removes saved translations, translated storefront messages, localized search content, pending AI suggestions, and CSV previews for that language. Translation work that is still running is cancelled. Completed import and export history remains available.
The language remains enabled and stays assigned to the same storefronts. Original content in the default language is not changed.
Export any translations you may need later.
Open Settings > Languages.
Choose Remove translation data beside a non-default language.
Review every warning, then choose Remove data again to confirm.
Add or import replacement translations before promoting that language to shoppers.
