Why can't I disable or remove a currency?

Disable is blocked while a market uses the currency. Remove the currency from those markets first.

Delete is blocked while the currency still has prices or settings. The message shows how many remain in products, shipping, product feeds, markets, and store settings. Change them in those sections, or use Remove currency data to delete them after confirmation.

Delete is also blocked while an active Gift Card still holds a balance in the currency. Remove currency data never changes Gift Card balances; they must be spent, cancelled, or expire first.

Delete and Remove currency data are also unavailable while automatic exchange rates are on. Switch to manual rates first.
