Save your changes.
Saving changes only the settings you edited. Your edits stay a draft until you save, and leaving with unsaved edits asks you to confirm. Viewing reviews needs permission to read reviews. Moderating, responding, deleting, and changing settings need permission to manage reviews.
Require purchase and Allow guest reviews can't both be on. Customers with a review invitation from their order can always review what they bought, even as guests. The minimum review length must be shorter than the maximum.

Moderation
Auto-approve, the default, publishes a review as soon as it passes your content filters, unless Hold low ratings for approval keeps it pending. Manual keeps every new review pending until you approve it. Off stops new reviews and helpful votes, and existing reviews no longer show on your store; nothing is deleted.
Content filters
Content filters work in every moderation mode. Block links and Block email addresses are on by default: a review that contains a web address or an email address is refused, and the shopper is asked to remove it and try again. Blocked words refuses reviews that contain any word or phrase on your list, in the title, text, or reviewer name. Refused reviews are not saved, so they never appear in Reviews or send you a notification. With Auto-approve, Hold low ratings for approval keeps 1- and 2-star reviews pending until you approve them.
Built-in limits
Every store also has limits you can't turn off. A guest needs an active storefront session to leave a review. Each customer can review a product once. A guest who enters an email address can review a product once with that address and leave at most 3 reviews a day in your store; addresses that differ only by a +tag, or by dots in a Gmail address, count as the same. Each visitor can submit at most 5 reviews an hour. Stop review spam explains what to do when spam still gets through.
Review request delay sets how many days after the whole order is delivered the review request is sent. Review request emails and messages are off until you turn on their channels under Settings > Customer notifications. A request that falls due while reviews are Off is skipped. Review request invitations explains the customer page and its editor.
