Create a vendor when you want to record a product's supplier or source separately from its customer-facing brand. Each vendor name and slug must be unique in your store.
On the web
In your store admin, go to Products > Vendors.
Select Add vendor.
Enter the vendor name. Leave the slug blank to have it generated from the name, or set your own.
Optionally add description, SEO, image, and template details for the vendor page.
Save the vendor, then assign it while editing products or by product import.
On mobile
Open the Tringify app and go to Vendors.
Tap the add button.
Enter the vendor name. The slug is generated from the name unless you set your own.
Optionally add description, SEO, image, and template details for the vendor page.
Save the vendor.
You can edit the name, description, and SEO details without access to Storefronts or Languages. Template choices need access to Storefronts, and choosing an image needs access to Media. Saving other details keeps the existing template and image.
Limits
A store can have up to 100,000 vendors. Names and slugs can be up to 100 characters, descriptions up to 5,000, SEO titles up to 70, and SEO descriptions up to 160. Names are unique regardless of capitalization, so Acme and ACME count as the same vendor.
