Send newsletters and promotions

Create email newsletters, manage subscribers and review campaign delivery.

Open Marketing > Promotional. Use Campaigns to send newsletters and promotions, and Automated emails for checkout recovery and review request templates.

Prepare and save a draft

Choose New campaign and enter a campaign name. Save draft keeps your work even before the subject, content or recipients are ready. Open the draft again from the campaign list to continue. If you leave with unsaved changes, choose whether to keep editing or discard those changes.

Add a subject and optional preview text. In Store Admin, use Create email design or Edit email design to compose and preview the message, then save the design to return to the campaign. The mobile app can compose a simple text email. Existing designed layouts are preserved; edit those layouts in Store Admin.

Choose an audience

All email subscribers includes active newsletter subscribers, including people without a customer account. Customer group includes only the active email subscribers linked to customers in the selected group. Staff need customer access to choose or send to a group.

Choose Manage subscribers beside Audience to open Customers > Newsletter Subscribers in Store Admin or the mobile app. This link is available to staff with customer access. Save your draft before leaving if you want to keep your work.

Manage newsletter confirmation and double opt-in in Customers > Settings. Pending confirmations and unsubscribed addresses are excluded from campaigns.

The preview shows matching customers separately from eligible email recipients. Group membership does not give permission to send marketing. People awaiting newsletter confirmation or who have unsubscribed are not eligible. Refresh the preview if a group is still updating.

You can save a draft without eligible recipients. Sending requires at least one eligible subscriber. Configure a marketing email sender and enough email allowance before sending; each campaign email includes an unsubscribe link.

Review before sending

Choose Review and send after the name, subject, email content and eligible audience are ready. The audience is checked again on the review screen. Check the subject, preview text and recipients. Use Back to editing to make changes, or Save draft to send later. Send now starts the campaign only after this review.

Recipients after launch

Launching fixes the recipient list, including when delivery is scheduled for later. Later group edits, new subscribers or group deletion do not add recipients to that campaign. Email consent is checked again before sending, so an unsubscribe can still remove someone from delivery.

Cancelling stops recipients who have not begun sending. An email already being sent may still arrive. Cancelled campaigns retain their counts so you can review what happened.

Use a control group

Set Holdout group from 0% to 50% while editing a draft. At launch, Tringify assigns eligible recipients deterministically to the message group or the control group. The assignment is fixed with the recipient snapshot. Control-group recipients receive no message from that campaign, and retries cannot move them into the message group.

For seven days from the scheduled send time, the campaign compares purchases by identified customers in the two assigned groups. Guest subscribers without a linked customer account are excluded from purchase rates and shown through the identified-customer denominators. Cancelled orders are removed; later refunds do not erase that a purchase occurred.

The message and control purchase rates are descriptive. They do not by themselves prove that the campaign caused a difference or that the sample is statistically significant. Read the result only after the seven-day window is complete, and review treatment delivery failures and the number of identified customers before making a decision.

Campaign counts

Recipients is the fixed audience at launch. Sent counts emails accepted for delivery; it does not confirm inbox delivery or that someone read the email. Failed means delivery was refused. Suppressed counts recipients skipped after consent changed or cancellation.

Awaiting confirmation means the sending result is not yet known. These emails are not sent again while confirmation is pending. Do not launch a duplicate campaign to retry them. A cancelled campaign with uncertain results cannot be deleted until its results are resolved.

Temporary problems and unavailable marketing allowance are retried with increasing delays, up to 15 minutes between attempts. Add allowance or cancel the campaign if you do not want the remaining emails to wait. The original sender and email content are retained for retries.

Manage automated emails

Open Automated emails to choose an active, compatible template for checkout recovery or review requests. Store Admin also provides controls to edit and test the assigned template or create a new one. Manage when these messages are sent in Settings > Customer notifications. Choosing a template does not send a campaign.

Refresh the campaign list to see the latest delivery counts. Use the page controls to reach older campaigns. A failed load shows a retry action; it does not mean your campaigns have been deleted.
