Create an attribute when products need structured options, variant choices, or storefront filters. Each attribute name and slug must be unique in your store.
On the web
- In your store admin, go to Products > Attributes.
- Select Add attribute.
- Enter the attribute name. Leave the slug blank to have it generated from the name, or set your own.
- Choose the sub type: standard, swatch, or image.
- Add at least one option. Swatch options need a color; image options need an upload image.
- Save the attribute, then assign it while editing variable products.
On mobile
- Open the Tringify app and go to Attributes.
- Tap the add button.
- Enter the attribute name. The slug is generated from the name unless you set your own.
- Choose the sub type: standard, swatch, or image.
- Add at least one option.
- Save the attribute.
