Open Settings > Languages.
Choose Manage languages.
Select every language you want to keep enabled. Clear a language to disable it.
Review your selection, then choose Save. If you are disabling a language, review the confirmation warnings and confirm.
The default language is always selected and cannot be disabled. If another language is still used by a storefront, remove it from that storefront before trying again.
If your store has more enabled languages than its current allowance, Manage languages stays available so you can reduce the selection, even on a one-language plan. A reduction may be saved in steps. Adding a language still requires room within the allowance.
Disabling a language permanently removes its translations, translated storefront messages, and language-specific search content, and cancels active translation work for that language. Original content in your default language is not changed. Export translations you may need before disabling the language.
