How to create inventory groups

Create an inventory group first, then add location stock and link products or variants to the group.

Create an inventory group when products or variants should share one stock pool. Each inventory group SKU and slug must be unique in your store.

On the web

In your store admin, go to Inventory > Inventory Groups.
Select Add inventory group.
Enter the inventory group name and SKU. Leave the slug blank to generate it from the name, or set your own.
Optionally set an overall low-stock threshold for total available stock across all locations.
Save the inventory group, then add stock rows for the locations that hold this pool.

On mobile

Open the Tringify app and go to Inventory > Groups.
Tap the add button.
Enter the inventory group name and SKU. The slug is generated from the name unless you set your own.
Save the inventory group, then add stock at locations.
