Connect a Customer Group to a webhook

Keep a Customer Group available in an external tool through a saved webhook endpoint.

An audience connection sends a Customer Group's customer identifiers to an external tool and keeps the membership updated.

Create and connect
  1. In Store Admin or the Tringify mobile app, open Settings and choose Webhooks.

  2. Open a saved webhook endpoint, or create and save one.

  3. Under Audience connections, choose Add connection and select a Customer Group.

  4. Review the paused connection, then choose Connect when the external tool is ready.

A new connection is paused and does not send data until you choose Connect. The webhook endpoint must also be active. Connecting sends the group's full current membership first, then follows later changes.

Check its status

Paused means nothing is being sent. Preparing full list means the current membership is being prepared. Following changes means the full list is complete and later membership changes are being followed. Needs attention means you should review delivery history and reconnect if needed. Sending group removal means the external tool is being told that the group was deleted.

Pause or reconnect

Choose Pause to stop queued and future deliveries for this connection. Connecting it again starts a new full list and replaces the earlier synchronization. If the webhook endpoint is disabled, activate it before connecting the group.

Remove a connection

Choose Remove connection, review the warning, and confirm. Removal permanently deletes queued deliveries and delivery history for this connection. A request already in progress may still reach the external tool. Removing the connection does not delete the Customer Group or any customers.

Deleting a connected Customer Group sends a final group-removal update when the connection can still deliver it. The connection may show Sending group removal while this finishes.

Customer data and consent

Choose an external tool that is permitted to receive this customer data, and review its access and retention settings. Membership in a Customer Group does not grant marketing consent. The external tool must check each customer's current consent before sending marketing.
