Storefront messages are shopper-facing responses used by storefront and hosted-action workflows. Each stable message code has a platform default and can have one override per enabled store language.
Placeholders
A message may require placeholders such as a product name or quantity. An override must preserve exactly the placeholders shown in the editor so runtime values remain complete.
Create an override
- Open Online Store > Storefront Messages.
- Choose the language and find the message code.
- Edit the message while preserving its placeholders, then save.
Return to the default
Reset an override to remove only that language's custom text. The platform default becomes effective immediately.
