About Email settings

Understand sender address types, limits, verification, and defaults.

Email settings control the sender addresses Tringify uses for your store's messages. Sender addresses are separated into transactional and marketing purposes.

Transactional and marketing sender addresses

Transactional addresses are for customer account messages such as welcome emails, sign-in codes, verification, and subscription confirmation. Marketing addresses are for newsletters and promotions that require subscriber consent and unsubscribe links.

Each purpose has its own address limit. An address must use your Tringify subdomain or a verified custom email domain. Only verified addresses can become the default sender.

Sender addresses are not inboxes

Tringify sender addresses are outbound-only identities. Incoming mail sent directly to one of these addresses is rejected by the mail server; it is not stored, forwarded, or shown in Tringify. Do not publish a sender address as a customer contact address.
