Create a blog post when you want to publish an article on your store's blog. Each blog post title and slug must be unique in your store.
On the web
- In your store admin, go to Blog > Blog Posts.
- Select Add blog post.
- Enter the title. Leave the slug blank to have it generated from the title, or set your own.
- Write the content in the rich text editor. Formatting and inline images are cleaned to safe HTML when the post is saved.
- Choose a blog author. Create the author first if they are not available in the picker, and optionally add an excerpt for listings and previews.
- Optionally choose a featured image from your media library.
- Assign blog categories and blog tags for the post's topic and labels.
- Optionally set the SEO title and SEO description for search and link previews.
- Optionally choose a theme template that controls how the post page is rendered.
- Set the status. Choose published to go live now, draft to keep it hidden, or scheduled to publish later.
- If you chose scheduled, set the publish date and time. It is read in your store's timezone.
- Save the blog post.
On mobile
- Open the Tringify app and go to Blog Posts.
- Tap the add button.
- Enter the title. The slug is generated from the title unless you set your own.
- Write the content and choose a blog author.
- Optionally add a featured image, excerpt, categories, and tags.
- Set the status, and a publish date and time if you chose scheduled.
- Save the blog post.
