Where do I find and add my DNS records?
Open your domain’s setup page in Settings > Domains. Copy the record types, names and values shown there.
- If you kept your DNS provider, add the records at that provider.
- If Tringify manages your DNS, open Settings > DNS managed by Tringify, select your domain, and use DNS Records.
Then return to the domain’s setup page and select Check connection.
What does Awaiting DNS mean?
Tringify has not verified your domain’s DNS records yet. Add the records shown in setup, or check that you saved them correctly, then select Check connection.
What does DNS action required mean?
You need to add or correct a DNS record. Open the domain’s setup page to see what is needed, make that change where you manage DNS, then select Check connection again.
What does Setting up HTTPS mean?
Your domain’s secure connection is not ready yet. Keep the required DNS records in place and check again later. If setup asks for another record, add it before checking again.
What does Connected mean?
Your domain’s DNS and secure HTTPS connection are ready. To use the address for your storefront, assign it in Online Store > Domains. Connecting a domain does not assign it automatically.
What should I do if I see DNS issue or Needs attention?
Open the domain’s setup page and read the details shown. Review the DNS records it asks for, correct any differences, and select Check connection. If the same message remains after your provider confirms the records are available, contact Tringify support.
I saved the records. Why is the domain still not connected?
DNS updates are not always visible immediately. Before changing anything else, check that:
- You saved the records with the provider currently managing your DNS.
- Each record’s type, name and value match the setup instructions. Some providers add your domain to the name automatically; do not enter it twice.
- There is no older, conflicting address record for the same hostname. Keep unrelated records, such as those used for email.
If the records match, allow time for the update and select Check connection again. HTTPS setup can also take time; the domain is ready when it shows Connected.
