Customer tags are reusable labels you assign to customer profiles. Use them to identify groups such as VIP customers, wholesale buyers, or customers who need follow-up.
Tags and customer groups
A customer group can use a tag in its rules. Adding or removing that tag from a customer can change whether the customer belongs to the group.
Names and slugs
Each tag has a name and a unique slug. The name is shown in Store Admin; the slug is a stable identifier used by integrations and rules. If you omit the slug when creating a tag, Tringify generates one from the name.
