Team brings together the people and partner organizations that can work in your store. Only the store owner can open Team, in Store Admin and the mobile app, and Team is available only for live stores.
Team members and collaborators
A team member is someone you invite directly by email. A collaborator is a person from a partner organization, such as an agency. Once you approve the organization's access request, the organization's owner assigns individual people to your store from the partner portal. You can't invite a collaborator through the team member invite.
Permissions and app access
For each store area, a person can have View or Edit. Edit needs View, and everyone needs at least one permission. The store owner always has full access.
App access lets you give a team member All apps or Specific apps. Team members with Edit on Apps aren't restricted by this choice. To block apps entirely, remove the View Apps permission.
Team limits
Your plan sets how many team members your store can have. Team shows how many are in use, for example "2 of 5 team member slots used", and each pending invite reserves a slot until it's accepted, revoked, or expires.
Collaborators don't count towards your team member limit. They have their own caps on the number of collaborators and partner organizations per store.
Ownership and leaving
Store ownership can't be transferred. Team members can't leave a store themselves; the store owner removes them. Partner organizations and their collaborators leave from the partner portal.
