An installed app is always active. To stop it doing one job while it keeps the rest, switch off the service it provides:
SMS and WhatsApp: in Apps > Service providers, make another provider active or turn the app's provider off.
Payments: in your market payment settings, turn off the app's payment method in each market.
Fulfillment: assign the locations the app fulfills to another provider, or fulfill those orders manually.
Switching a service off keeps the app's settings, permissions, installed version and data. Switch it back on from the same screen.
Uninstall an app
On Apps, open the app's actions menu and choose Uninstall. You need permission to manage apps. Uninstall removes the app from the store, ends its access and tells its provider you have stopped using it.
Before you confirm, Tringify shows what uninstalling will change on your store.
Fulfillment orders still waiting on the app switch to manual fulfillment.
Shipments the app was tracking stay on their orders, marked No longer updated by ‹app›.
Services the app provided are removed, and fulfillment assignments that pointed at it are cleared.
App-managed inventory locations are suspended. They are not deleted.
If the app was your store's last active SMS provider, Phone OTP sign-in turns off until another SMS provider is active.
Products that need something from the app before they can be added to a cart, such as a design from Custom Products, stop requiring it and can be bought without it.
When products are affected, the confirmation names the input they will stop requiring and lists the products. Tick the box to confirm you understand before you uninstall; without it, Tringify does not uninstall the app. Reinstalling the app does not bring these requirements back, so set them up again in the app if you still need them.
