When you delete a file, Tringify first checks where it is used. What happens next depends on whether those places can safely let the file go, or whether they require it.
Deleting a file that is not in use
If nothing references the file, it is deleted right away.
Deleting a file that is in use
If the file is used somewhere that can safely release it — for example a brand image or a product photo — Tringify asks you to confirm. When you confirm, it removes the file from those places and then deletes the file. The records that used it stay; they simply no longer show that image.
When a file cannot be deleted
If the file is required somewhere — a place that cannot exist without it — the deletion is blocked and Tringify tells you why. Remove or replace the file in that place first, then delete it.
Deleting several files at once
A bulk delete is all-or-nothing for the files you selected. If none are in use, they are all deleted. If some are safely in use, Tringify asks you to confirm once for the whole selection, then deletes them all and clears the safe references. If any single selected file is required somewhere and cannot be deleted, the entire bulk delete is blocked — nothing is deleted.
