Rules run from top to bottom. Include subcategories applies only to category rules and includes every descendant category.
Policies
You can hide out-of-stock products and exclude free products from automatic selection. An explicit pin remains a merchant choice and is not removed by the free-product policy.
Exclusions
An excluded product is not selected automatically for any recommendation rail. Exclusions do not unpublish the product or remove it from search.
Recently viewed
Recently viewed follows the configured product limit and history window. Cross-device history is available only to signed-in customers who allow personalization; withdrawing consent removes that history.
