A page is a custom content page on your storefront — for example an About us page, a contact page, or a lookbook. Each page has a title, a URL slug, rich text content, and optional SEO fields, and it appears on your storefront at its slug.
Status
A page has one of two statuses: draft or published. A draft is saved but not visible to shoppers. Published makes the page live on your storefront. You switch between the two at any time.
Content
The body of a page is written in a rich text editor. Formatting and inline images are cleaned to safe HTML when the page is saved, so only content that is safe to render on your storefront is stored.
Slug and redirects
Each page has a URL slug that must be unique among your store's custom pages. When you create a page and leave the slug blank, Tringify generates one from the title. If you later change the slug, Tringify can automatically create a redirect from the old URL to the new one, so existing links and bookmarks keep working. This redirect is on by default when you change the slug; you can turn it off for that save.
Template
A page uses a theme template that controls how its page is rendered. When you do not choose one, the page uses the default page template from your primary storefront's active theme. You can choose any alternate page template from that theme.
Custom data
Custom data adds structured fields to a page without putting them in its rich text. Create Page definitions under Settings > Metafield Definitions, then set their values while editing the page. A definition marked visible on the storefront is available to themes under that page's metafields. Searchable values can contribute to storefront search, and translatable text values can be translated from Translations.
SEO
The SEO title and SEO description control how the page appears in search results and link previews. They are optional and separate from the on-page title and content.
Deleting pages
Deleting a page removes it from your storefront and admin. If a menu links to it, Tringify first shows which menu links will be removed and asks for confirmation. The confirmed delete removes those links, the page, its custom data values, and its translations. You can also delete several pages at once from the pages list.
