About brands

How brands differ from vendors, where they appear, and how to manage them.

A brand is the customer-facing manufacturer or brand identity for products, for example Nike, Apple, or your own house brand. Use brands for customer-facing brand pages, brand menu links, and product data that separates brand identity from vendor or supplier records.

Where brands appear

A product can have one brand. Brand assignments appear on product responses and product exports as a brand ID plus the brand slug. In a product CSV, a brand is referenced by its slug, not its ID.

Creating and managing brands

Create brands from Products > Brands, in bulk from the same page, while editing a product, or with a brand CSV import. On mobile, open Brands and use the add button.

Deleting brands

Deleting a brand uses confirmation when products, collection rules, or menus reference it. Confirmed deletion unassigns the brand from those products and removes it.
