Verification methods
Email codes are available without an additional app. Phone codes require an installed messaging provider whose setup is complete, whose app is active, and which is selected as the active provider.
Registration and sessions
Turning off self-registration prevents new shoppers from creating accounts but does not prevent existing customers from signing in. Guest cart duration controls how long an anonymous cart is kept. Session duration controls how long a signed-in customer session remains valid.
