Use Customers > Settings in Store Admin or the mobile app. Changing sections prompts you to keep or discard unsaved edits. Saving changes only the fields you edited.
Checkout requires a customer account verified by email code or phone code. Shoppers can browse and keep a visitor cart without signing in.
Verification methods
Email codes are available without an additional app. Phone codes require an installed messaging provider whose setup is complete, whose app is active, and which is selected as the active provider.
Phone sign-in preferences
When phone codes are enabled, choose the preferred sign-in method, allowed phone countries, and an optional default country. The default must be one of the allowed countries. An empty country list allows every country.
Registration and sessions
Turning off self-registration prevents new shoppers from creating accounts but does not prevent existing customers from signing in. Visitor cart duration controls how long an anonymous cart is kept. Session duration controls how long a signed-in customer session remains valid.
