A collection URL uses the collection slug. When you change a collection slug, Tringify can leave an automatic redirect from the old collection URL to the new one.
On the web
The Create URL redirect option appears in your store admin when you edit a collection and change its slug. It is on by default. Leave it on to keep old links working.
