Open a customer profile and choose Addresses to add or edit a shipping or billing address. Enter the customer's first and last name, street address, city, and country. Company, address line 2, state or province, postal code, and phone are optional for a customer address. Check any supplied values against the country format shown in the form.
You can set one default shipping address and one default billing address. Changing a default replaces the previous default of that type. If the address limit has been reached, edit or remove an existing address before adding another.
Choose the country first
Choose the country before entering the state or province and postal code. The field labels and available choices change to suit that country. If a state or province list appears, choose from that list.
State and province values in CSV files
Browse the complete country, state, and postal rules list to find every country and every state or province value Tringify provides. The tables include country codes, accepted subdivision values, postal examples, and plain-language postal rules. You can search and read the tables directly.
In the Address Country Code column, use the two-letter country code, such as IN for India or US for the United States. The Address Province Code column may contain a full name or an abbreviation: use Uttar Pradesh for India, NY for New York, ON for Ontario, and NSW for New South Wales. For Uttar Pradesh, enter Uttar Pradesh rather than UP or IN-UP.
Copy the country and state/province values from those tables into your CSV. Keep postal codes as text in your spreadsheet so leading zeroes are preserved.

Customer imports can create addresses along with new customer profiles. Customer Update CSV files do not change addresses. To change an existing address, open that customer's profile and edit it under Addresses.
Postal codes and India PIN codes
Follow the postal-code example shown in the form. Include any required letters, spaces, or hyphens. For India, enter a valid six-digit PIN for the selected state. For example, 226001 is in Uttar Pradesh. If the PIN and state do not match, check both before saving.
Phone numbers

Enter the recipient's phone number if it is needed for delivery. Check that it is valid for the address country. This number is separate from the phone number on the customer's profile.
Correct an import error
Review the row number and reason shown in the import results. Check the country, state or province, and postal code in that row, correct the file, and try again. Customers already created by an earlier import are skipped when you import the same email addresses again.
