Show offers on product pages

List discounts and online payment discounts under Available offers on your product pages, and see why an offer might not show.

You can list discounts and online payment discounts under Available offers on your product pages, so shoppers see what they can save before they add to cart. Each offer shows the saving, its conditions, and either the code to enter at checkout or that it applies automatically. Tringify writes the text in the shopper's language and in the currency they shop in, so you don't translate or convert anything.

Show a discount on product pages
  1. Go to Markets and open the market, then open the Discounts tab.

  2. Open the discount, or select Create Discount to make a new one.

  3. Turn on Show on product page.

  4. Optionally, enter a Product page label: a short headline of up to 40 characters, such as Summer offer. Leave it empty to show the saving, for example 15% off.

  5. Check the card under Customers will see, then save.

You can do this on web or in the Tringify app. In the Discounts tab, the Product page column shows which discounts are listed on product pages.

Show an online payment discount on product pages
  1. Go to Markets, open the market, then Payments and Online payments.

  2. Open the payment provider's online payment discount and turn on Show on product page.

  3. Optionally, enter a Product page label, check the card under Customers will see, then save.

The offer names the payment method the way checkout does, for example 5% off with When you pay with PayPal, and says it is applied automatically at checkout. Shoppers get it when they pay with that provider, whether that is cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, SEPA Direct Debit or another method it offers.

What shoppers see

Each offer is a card with a headline (your label, or the saving such as 15% off, €10.00 off or Buy 2, get 1 free), the conditions (for example On orders of £50.00 or more · On your first order), and either the code with a copy button or Applied automatically. Amounts are in the currency the shopper is browsing in, for example $ in the United States and € in Germany. The preview under Customers will see shows the same card in your language and your store's base currency.

Rules
  • Only discounts for everyone can be shown. A discount for specific customers or customer groups can't be, because every shopper sees the same product page.

  • Automatic discounts and coupons can both be shown. For a coupon, the code itself becomes visible to anyone who views the product page.

  • Each market can have up to 50 discounts with Show on product page turned on, disabled ones included. To show another, turn it off on a discount you no longer want to show.

  • A product page shows up to 10 offers: automatic discounts first, then coupons, each by priority and then newest first, then online payment discounts in your payment providers' checkout order.

  • Your theme must support Available offers. In Canvas, open the theme editor, select the product section and add the Available offers block. Other themes show offers only if their developer added support.

  • Changes show right away: when you turn an offer off, edit it or delete it, product pages show the change on the next visit.

Why an offer doesn't show

An offer with Show on product page turned on appears only on the product pages it applies to, and only while shoppers can use it. Check these:

  • The discount is disabled, or it is outside its schedule (Scheduled or Expired).

  • Its Total Usage Limit has been reached.

  • The discount doesn't target this product. It must apply to the entire order, the product or one of its variants, or one of its collections or categories; a Buy X Get Y or bundle discount must include the product among its items.

  • The discount has Exclude sale items turned on and the product is on sale.

  • An amount the offer needs, such as its fixed amount or Minimum Subtotal, isn't available in the shopper's currency. Amounts you leave empty are converted from your base currency when the store has an exchange rate for that currency; otherwise the offer is left out rather than shown with a wrong amount.

  • For an online payment discount: the discount is turned off, or its payment provider isn't offered at checkout in the shopper's market and currency. A fixed online payment discount also needs an amount in the shopper's currency.

  • The product page already shows 10 offers.

  • The product is a gift card or a gift-only product.

  • Your theme has no Available offers block on the product page.
