Your AI assistant can change your theme's design: new sections, layouts, styles and animations. Connect it to your store as a tool, then describe what you want in your assistant's chat, for example “make the footer look like a design studio's site” or “add subtle animations to every page”.
Connect your assistant
In your assistant, add Tringify as a connector (an MCP server) with the address https://api.tringify.com/mcp/store. Sign in to Tringify when asked, choose the store, and allow access to view and edit storefront themes. You can disconnect it at any time under Connected tools.
Watch it live
Ask your assistant for a live preview link and open it beside the chat, for example in your app's browser panel or on your phone. It refreshes by itself after every change your assistant saves and shows what changed, with a switch between desktop and mobile. Changes made through your assistant appear in the theme's code history under its name.
To try the changes for real, select Try on storefront in the live preview: your storefront opens with the changes in this browser only, checkout takes test payments only and nothing is tracked.
How changes stay safe
Your assistant never changes your live theme directly. Its changes are saved to a copy of your live theme, so shoppers see nothing until you publish them. Every change goes through the same checks as the code editor in Store Admin, including a check that your pages still display and that prices, buy buttons and checkout stay in place.
Every change is saved in the copy's history, and your assistant can undo any of them. Ask it for a live preview link to watch the copy while it works.
When it's done, open Online Store > Themes and choose Review under Theme changes to review. Compare the pages before and after, then publish the changes or discard them. See Review theme changes from connected tools and apps. Your default theme can't be edited: your assistant can work on a copy of it, which you then make live in Online Store > Themes.
