Tell your Coming Soon subscribers you're open

Email the people who signed up on your Coming Soon page when your storefront goes Live.

The first time you switch your storefront to Live while you have Coming Soon subscribers, Store Admin and the mobile app ask “Tell your N Coming Soon subscribers you're open?”, with the number of subscribers.

Coming Soon subscribers are the active email subscribers who signed up on your Coming Soon page. People awaiting newsletter confirmation and people who unsubscribed are not included.

Create the email
  1. Switch the storefront to Live in Online Store › Status › Storefront Status.

  2. When the question appears, choose Create email. Choose Not now if you don't want to send it.

  3. A draft campaign opens with the We're open email, addressed to your Coming Soon subscribers.

  4. Check the subject and the email, edit them if you like, then review and send the campaign.

Nothing is sent until you review and send the campaign. The draft stays in Marketing > Promotional, so you can finish it later.

Asked once per store

The question appears once per store, to the staff member who switched the storefront to Live, if they can edit marketing. After that it doesn't appear again, even if you choose Not now or switch to Live again later. It doesn't appear when the storefront goes Live through the Store API or an agent tool, or when you have no Coming Soon subscribers.

The We're open email

The We're open email is written in your store's default language when that is English, German, Spanish, French or Italian, and in English otherwise. It fills in your store name and storefront address for you. Edit its text, images and design in the email editor like any other campaign email. Tringify automatically adds a visible unsubscribe link in the footer, including when you remove or change the design's footer blocks.

Recipients are fixed when you send the campaign, and each subscriber's consent is checked again before sending. See Send newsletters and promotions.

To see what each subscriber agreed to when they signed up, see Coming Soon sign-ups and consent.
