Review photos have their own storage allowance, separate from your product and file storage. Shopper photos and imported review photos use the same allowance. It measures the space occupied by photos, not a monthly number of uploads.
Open Reviews > Settings to see your usage, allowance and uploads in progress. You can also see review-photo usage under Billing. Photos use storage while their reviews are pending, approved, hidden or rejected. Unsubmitted uploads temporarily use space and expire automatically.
When the allowance is full, shoppers can still submit ratings and text, and existing reviews and photos remain visible according to your moderation settings. New photo uploads are unavailable. A photo larger than the remaining space is refused even before the allowance is completely full.
Your saved Allow photos preference does not change when storage fills up. If it was on, photo uploads become available again when space is freed or an upgrade provides more space. If you turned it off yourself, it stays off.
To free space without deleting a review, open the review, open a photo, choose Remove photo and confirm. The rating and text stay unchanged. Removing a photo is permanent; save a copy first if needed. Storage becomes available after deletion finishes, so it may not update immediately. Hiding or rejecting a review does not free photo storage.
You receive review-photo storage warnings at 80% and 95%, and a storage-limit notification when an upload cannot fit or the allowance is full, through the channels enabled under Settings > Notifications. Repeated attempts do not send another alert each time.
Changing to a smaller plan is blocked if retained review photos and uploads in progress exceed that plan’s allowance. Remove enough photos and wait for deletion to finish before trying again.
