Some apps have plans. Tringify bills them on your monthly Tringify invoice, so you never pay an app directly, and nothing is charged at install. Only the store owner can choose a plan, change it or answer an app's request.
Kinds of plan
Plan |
What you pay |
|---|---|
Free |
Nothing. |
Subscription |
A fixed monthly price. It can also have usage charges. |
Usage |
Only the usage charges the app reports. |
Usage charges come with the app's own description of what it charges for, such as a percentage of certain orders, and a monthly cap. The app can't charge more than the cap in a billing month. You see both before you choose the plan.
See and change an app's plan
Open Apps, open the app, then Plan and usage.
The page shows your current plan, usage this month against the cap, and any change waiting for next month.
To switch, choose another plan and confirm. A plan that costs more starts at once and the rest of this billing month is prorated. One that costs less starts when the next billing month begins; until then you can choose Keep to stay on your current plan.
Under Usage, each usage charge shows its date and amount, with a link to the order it came from. Adjustments appear under Credits.
When an app asks for a change
An app can ask you to move to another plan or to raise its monthly usage cap, for example when you turn on a feature that needs it. It opens the request for you in Store Admin. The page shows your current plan or cap next to the one requested, and what the app charges for. Choose Approve or Decline. Nothing changes until you approve.
A request can expire: the app made a newer request, or the app was removed. A cap request can also be replaced by a newer one. Each request page says which.
Test stores and uninstalling
On development and transfer stores, plans show Test, nothing billed.
Uninstalling an app ends its plan. Usage after that moment isn't charged, a monthly plan credits the days after today, and any change or request waiting is cancelled. See Stop an app's service or remove it.
