Tringify checks Razorpay directly to confirm payments and refunds. Closing the payment window or returning to your store does not itself confirm payment. Check the order in Store Admin or the mobile app for the recorded result. Payment and refund behavior is the same in both.
Razorpay Checkout receives the time remaining for the payment attempt. Razorpay does not provide order cancellation, so Tringify checks whether an attempt was paid when it closes or expires. A declined payment can leave the same Razorpay order available for another try. If money arrives late, Tringify records it and decides whether it can pay the order or must be refunded. Browser timers can pause in background tabs, so a checkout timeout cannot guarantee the provider will never settle money late.
Refund requests keep the same refund identity when retried, so a retry does not issue a second refund. A pending refund stays pending until Razorpay confirms its result. Do not request another refund just because the first is still processing. Check the order and its refund details.
Keep the store-specific webhook URL shown in the Razorpay app configured in Razorpay. Notifications make confirmation faster; automatic platform checks also run when a notification is missing. After generating a new webhook secret, enter the new value in Razorpay. Previous valid secrets overlap for 72 hours after the first notification signed with the newest secret.
Updating credentials checks the new keys before replacing the active account. Existing saved accounts can still be used to read earlier payments and refunds. The app supports up to 32 saved account records that have not been purged; a request beyond that limit shows an error. Credential changes briefly wait for an active payment request to finish. After a save, reload the app if checkout readiness is still being confirmed. The old payment-reporting Needs attention list is removed; use the order and refund records for payment status.
The app stores credentials and installation information, while Tringify stores payment and refund results. If Razorpay cannot be reached, Tringify keeps checking instead of guessing that the payment failed. Contact support with the order number if confirmation remains delayed.
